He's been recuperating in London after breaking his leg on stage earlier on this month, but Dave Grohl seemed to be in high-spirits as he went for a night out on Wednesday. And he had good reason to be smiling amid fresh reports claiming The Foo Fighters - who were forced to cancel their headline set at Glastonbury following his accident - have already been booked for the 2016 festival by organiser Michael Eavis. Speaking to The Sun on Thursday, a source revealed that the Foos have already been snapped up for next year's line-up, as Eavis is 'desperate' for them to play the legendary music event.

'But Michael was quick to book him for next year as he's desperate for the Foos to headline. Dave agreed within seconds.' With this news surfacing, it's no wonder that Dave was spotted looking so chipper on his crutches as he left a swanky London restaurant on Wednesday night. The 46-year-old rocker was seen hobbling out of C London, Mayfair, on his crutches with a purple cast on his leg while he continued to rest after receiving treatment for his damaged limb. The former Nirvana drummer hit headlines earlier on this month when he took a freak fall while playing a gig in Gothenberg, Sweden, resulting in a nasty break. But the singer - who started the Foos after Niravna disbanded following Kurt Cobain's death - looked on the road to recovery as he left the Italian eatery. Opting for a smart but rocky look, Dave wore a stone-washed denim shirt and a pair of white shorts and a casual black trainer on his un-bandaged foot. The Foo Fighters were forced to withdraw from their headlining slot at the Glastonbury music festival, in keeping with Dave's doctor's orders. Instead, London's Florence And The Machine will take the band's spot at the festival, which began on Wednesday. The legendary rocker allegedly has had six pins put in the busted leg.
