As a seasoned vet of the silver screen, it's unlikely that she requires much professional advice. But nonetheless, Anne Hathaway showed her support for the release of author Seth Barrish's latest book, An Actor's Companion. The 32-year-old actress appeared while wearing a white dress at the book release party on Tuesday at The Barrow Group in New York.

The dress had pointy, floral designs that decorated the chest area. If flowed down to the actresses feet, which she covered with a pair of sandals with gold chains. The Les Misérables actress wore her brown locks tied back with a part down the middle. She also had on a low-hanging necklace. Anne also posed with the evening's guest of honor, Seth Barrish. In fact, Anne wrote the forward for the new acting guide. The actor/author/director wore a beige suit and light blue shirt for the evening's event. Hathaway was last seen as a super-villain called Vivica Virus on Friday's episode of Hit RECord On TV, which airs on Pivot. The show was created by Hathaway's The Dark Knight co-star, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The Golden Globe winner will next play Jules Ostin, a fashion e-commerce company CEO, who bonds with her 70-year-old intern (Robert De Niro) in Nancy Meyers' The Intern.
