But when she was evicted from the Big Brother house on Friday evening, Nick Henderson found himself adrift.
The 19 year-old, from Hertford, struggled to adjust to his new-found freedom, telling housemates: 'I'm just a bit shocked - I didn't think she was going to go. I feel totally lost.'
Looking glum as he took to the sofas, the foppish contestant seemed to lose all sense of perspective over his friend's exit - acting like it was a bereavement.
'I'm alone now,' he added. To which Chloe said: 'Don't worry, you've still got us.'
Toasting her exit with a mixture of both under and over-statement, he said: 'She frequently flew off the handle, but I think most people really loved Harry in the house - and she's great.'
