So it came as little surprise that Richard Gere was presented with an award on Wednesday evening as part of the 61st Taormina Film Festival in Sicily.
Taking to the stage to pick up the prize, the 65-year-old actor looked suave in a two piece suit.
Escorted to the ceremony by Tiziana Rocca, Gere happily posed for photos before heading into the auditorium for the main event.
