Rumer Willis reveals she won't be able to perform on DWTS live tour due to 'stress fractures' in foot!
Rumer Willis took to Instagram on Wednesday night to reveal a foot injury will keep her from hoofing it on the Dancing With The Stars live tour.
The 26-year-old season 20 champion posted a photo of her right foot in a thick walking boot.
'Have to hang up my dancing shoes for a little bit because of a few stress fractures in my foot but it's not gonna stop me from singing for you guys on the #DWTSlivetour,' she wrote in the caption for her nearly 500,000 followers on Instagram.
Rumer was spotted on Tuesday night wearing a foot brace while at a nightclub with stylist Maeve Reilly in West Hollywood, California.
She and pro partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy in May won the coveted Mirror Ball trophy on the ABC dancing competition show.
All seemed fine three days ago as Rumer wrote on Instagram: 'I have had such an amazing time on the #DWTSlivetour so far...I am so grateful to be able to keep dancing not only for myself but for all of you guys.'
The tour features all-stars champion Melissa Rycroft and pro dancers Val, Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Peta Murgatroyd, Emma Slater and troupe dancers Alan Bersten, Brittany Cherry, Sasha Farber and Jenna Johnson.
Rumer was performing at select shows and was next scheduled to perform on July 5 in Las Vegas.
The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore had nine shows scheduled from July 5 to July 15.
A representastive for the DWTS tour confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that Rumer was diagnosed with stress fractures and was currently resting.
'While it remains unclear at this time if Rumer will be able to dance for the remainder of the tour, she is still having fun with her dancing family and will continue to be on the road with the tour. She is hanging up her dancing shoes (for now), but Rumer is still a huge part of the tour and will be singing in various numbers throughout the 90 minute show,' the statement said.
Rumer earlier this year suffered a rib injury while preparing for the Swan Lake-themed contemporary dance on Dancing With The Stars.
She also was brought to tears during a rehearsal in April when Val swiftly spun her down onto his knee and cranked her neck painfully.
