MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly preparing a bumper contract to lure Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid. Ramos has fallen out with Real president Florentino Perez after his contract was allowed to run into its final two years.

United boss Louis van Gaal is keen on signing Ramos, who is believed to be considering quitting the La Liga giants. And according to Spanish sports paper AS, United have promised the 29-year-old a £250,000-a-week contract over five years to finish his career in the Premier League. Ramos held talks with Real general director Jose Angel Sanchez at the club's training ground in Valdebebas yesterday.
Spanish sports paper Marca report that Ramos was informed that a £35m offer from United for him had been rejected. Red Devils goalkeeper David De Gea is wanted by the Bernabeu outfit and could prove key to any deal.
