P. Diddy’s confrontation with UCLA assistant coach Sal Alosi was provoked after years of bullying, according to a new report. The rap mogul, now infamously, got into a confrontation with his son’s UCLA football strength and condition coach. But sources told TMZ that underpinning the confrontation was years of emotional and psychological bullying.



Insiders claimed to the gossip website that Alosi had been verbally abusive and publicly humiliated Justin Combs over the period of three years. The sources believed that all the negative attention psychologically damaged the young man. They went on to claim that when Justin told his father on Monday that he’d been kicked off the field by Alosi, Diddy went over to talk to the coach with this history in mind. New York Post's Page Six broke the story. Meanwhile, football coaches at UCLA apparently want the felony charges against Sean 'Diddy' Combs dropped. TMZ, quoting 'sources directly connected' with the football program, claimed the athletics staff think a court case would be bad for the college team. It was added head coach Jim Mora doesn't want a criminal prosecution to go ahead. Instead, the staff would like the 45-year-old Bad Boy For Life singer banned from the field. The rapper was taken into custody by campus cops on Monday afternoon after he allegedly attacked coach Sal Alosi at an athletics facility on the UCLA campus TMZ's sources said the police were called by an intern who witnessed the altercation between Diddy and Alosi. When officers arrived, they asked to see the security video of what happened and that's when they arrested the music producer. Diddy has been charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats, and one count of battery. He was released from LA County jail late Monday night after posting bail On Tuesday, the rap mogul issued a statement saying he had only acted in self-defense to protect himself and his 21-year-old son. TMZ said the case will go to the L.A. County D.A. for felony review next week.
