'She's beautiful': Karrueche Tran praises Chris Brown's ex Rihanna as she reveals she is '100 percent single' and not looking for a new boyfriend
It's been two months since Karrueche Tran called it quits with ex Chris Brown, after finding out about his love child with Nia Guzman.
And on Wednesday the 27-year-old talked about the breakup. She also addressed whether or not she holds ill feelings toward Chris' other famous ex, Rihanna, who he happened to be dating at the same time as the model in 2013.
'We just dated the same guy, and that’s kind of what it is,' she said, assuring radio host Big Boy that there's no residual competition between her and the 27-year-old pop star as she dropped by during Real 92.3 LA.
It’s always a competition thing and they compare us, but she is Rihanna,' Karrueche continued, adding: 'She’s a pop star and she’s beautiful and she makes great music, and I’m just me and I’m growing and working into myself.'
Tran added, 'You can't compare us because we're two completely different girls.'
But she doesn't have the same agreeable attitude when it comes to her ex. Karrueche was quick to assure listeners of her relationship status, letting everyone know she was single right off the bat.
He continued, touching upon feelings of self-loathing: 'There has been times where I looked in the mirror and hated the person I see. I talk to God a lot now. He's given me so much and I feel like I waste his gifts becuz of my impulsive personality.'
The Fun singer continued, attempting to explain his motivations while also offering a 'white flag,' and a promise to be better in the future.
'The world is full of negativity and I feel I play a part in it becuz of the choices I've made or mistakes. I tend to accept the negative or the riff raff becuz I know what it's like to be a young black 'n****' in America.'
Chris added: 'I always see the good in people even when they don't see it. I love others more than myself at times. Everything u see on the surface does not reflect what's inside.
'This is my white flag. I surrender to life and all its blessings. I refuse to be petty and attention seeking. To know me is to love me. Good Bad UGLY! Sincerely, Konfuzed,' he concluded.
