The disaster drama directed by Craig Gillespie is based on a real rescue mission that took place in February 1952 as a massive nor'easter struck New England.
The trailer opened with Bernie's love interest portrayed Holliday Grainger declaring that she wasn't afraid of the ocean.
'I'm not afraid of the water, Bernie. It scares me at night, that's all. You can't see what's underneath,' she revealed.
